So there is a lot of magical numbers today, first of all it’s day 11 on my 111 Day Challenge. It is also November 1st so 11/1. Pretty cool and I can pretend I planned it that way, but I am not that slick. It just happened and I am taking it as a sign that I am on the right path. Today I started with teaching a class at The Yoga Shop of West Hartford, then home to squeeze in my home practice (today one hour basic Vinyasa) and then off to my afternoon class at The Yoga Shop of Old Saybrook. I have been tired all day so coffee has been my companion all day. So to make it easier to wind down and go to bed I just did a short restorative yoga with poses on bolster and ended with legs up the wall. Now I am ready to let go of this day, go to bed and sleep and then wake up to a new day.
Yoga: Home Practice.
Meditation: Guided meditation with Deepak Chopra.
Self-Love: The evening restorative practice was pure self-love.
Digital Detox: Ugh! Still a fricking struggle!
Downshifting: Not sure if I gave this any real thought today. Just going about your day, from one place to another, sometimes comes in the way of slowing down and appreciating the small things. Right now I am just enjoying the peace and quit and cuddling with two cats.
